I designed paper packaging for Bic's (Société Bic SA) ballpoint pens. This paper packaging is more environmentally friendly than the original plastic packaging for Bic's ballpoint pens because it is naturally degradable and can be fully recycled. The ballpoint pen packaging is a 16.5 × 1.7cm rectangular package with a sliding box inside to hold the ballpoint pen, which enhances the usage of the package, and the customer uses the package as a stationery pen box repeatedly. I put an opening on the front of the package to allow the customer to see the product. Since workers use ballpoint pens, young people or students, the packaging design of ballpoint pens needs to be more innovative. I designed the ballpoint pen packaging by using black and gold as the theme colors, which can enhance the perception of the packaging and thus attract more people to buy. I drew the elements on the package in Illustrator and drew the mold lines. After printing and assembling, I was done with the job.
